The Long Run Experience The Eagles Lives Up To Its Name

In a year that saw so many great rock & roll musicians pass away, many people from those 60’s generation of flower children grew up with bands like The Eagles. With the recent sudden passing of Eagles founder Glen Frey it seems the end of an almost 40 year career has finally come to pass. Thankfully the influence of this great band has filtered down to other skillful musical people spawning a slew of tribute bands. One of these tribute bands calls itself “The Long Run – Experience The Eagles” and they are in no formal order, Kenny Cetera, Gary Gantham, Chris Sobkowich, Kevin Alexander Herrera, Berto Z & sitting in on Saturday night’s gig playing the bass guitar(for regular Jim Wootten) was Eric Baines. And on this night throngs of TLR fans and Eagles music lovers packed the Infinity Room inside the Pala Casino to hear these fantastic music makers play two solid hours of Wall-To-Wall Southern California rock & roll music more commonly known as The Eagles Greatest Hits. What separates a great rock band from the rest of the pack is plain old fashioned musical chops. With years of pedigree experience under each band members belts these guys understand this music, they feel every single note and lyric and in turn transmit that energy directly off the stage and to the audience… and the people responded for two solid hours. The Long Run – Experience The Eagles is one of THE great tributes touring the circuit today. Go see them because they literally play this great music to the limit.
