Video Premiere: Zafakon ” Arbeit Macht Frei

If you’ve been following our Amplified column, then you may remember San Juan’s Zafakon from our coverage of the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival. Since dazzling us with their first full-length, War As A Drug, these Puerto Rican thrashers are nearly ready to release their next record, umm…Release. The first track on the docket is “Arbeit Macht Frei,” a particularly brutal piece of German philosophy that translates to “Work Makes You Free,” which emblazons the front gates of various concentration camps. The track is an appropriately heavy piece of groovy thrash, and is a great sign for the rest of the record.
