Billy Sheehan on Plans for The Winery Dogs Im Hoping To Get

In a new interview with eonMusic, bassist Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big) discusses future plans for his other band, The Winery Dogs.

“I’m glad we’re taking a little time off rather than just tour / album / tour / album and burn out,” says Sheehan. “But one of my favourite things in the world at this time of my life, is to play with The Winery Dogs. I absolutely love playing with Richie and Mike, and it’s amazing that it just clicked so well. We want to play some more as soon as we are able, but it’s kind of good to get away from each other for a little while, so you’re not doing this constant grind. When you come back together again, it’s fun to hang out because you haven’t seen each other for a little while. So, I’m looking forward to our next adventure. I’m not sure exactly when it’s going to be, but I’m hoping to get writing towards the end of this year when the Mr. Big thing finishes. I’m very excited about it. I can’t wait to play with Richie and Mike again.”
